Announcing the Winners of the Poo-tastic
Tasmanian Paint Off 2025!

A huge thank you to everyone who was brave enough to participate in the world’s only poo painting competition.

You’re true trailblazers, proving that anything can be used to create amazing artworks!

The quality and creativity of your pieces were outstanding.
Here are the winners who truly stood out:

  • 1st Place - $2000:
    Marion Robertson

    David Boon, painted with kangaroo, wombat, Tasmanian devil, sugar glider, and wedge-tailed eagle poo

  • 2nd Place - $1000:
    Kailey Kluga

    Mr Bean, painted with turkey poo

  • 3rd Place - $500:
    Kim Hicks

    Gina Chick, painted with pademelon and possum poo

The winners were selected through a combination of evaluations by a panel of five jurors and public voting at the Pooseum. The judging criteria included creativity and originality, thematic interpretation, the quality of the painting (artistic skills demonstrated, composition, and level of detail), and the quality of the supplementary submission materials (written information and videos). All finalist paintings will be on display at the Pooseum until the end of 2026.
